Versatile dress having several variations for casual or fromal wear.

Pattern changes:

The main alteration was to enlarge the neckline to sit below the neckline of my long-sleeved t-shirts, for comfort during wear.  For this, I first cut the neck facings about one and a half inches wider, then cut away at dress and facing when they were pinned together -- see image below -- before sewing facing to dress along new neckline.

The wider neckline allows dress to slip over my head without a zip or seam at back.  This helps ensure that the large pattern of this fabric does not need to be matched at a long centre-back seam.  To remove this seam, I cut the back and the back neck facing with their seam lines on the fold.  This alteration helped to speed up the making of this dress, which was completed in one evening.

I also added 3/8" at the side seams, tapering to nothing at underarm for a looser fit.
