Ernest Bucalossi (?1859-1933) succeeded his father, Procida Bucalossi, as conductor at Prince of Wales's Theatre, after working for the D'Oyly Carte company.

| Composed 1905, published 1907. Copyright 1907 by Hawkes & Son. "This piece played with Orchestra has an important Xylophone and Grasshopper effect in the Drum part. The latter effect will be supplied gratis on application." The other main difference in the Orchestral version [apart from the Orchestra!] is that the first section [to a few bars before the trills] is repeated again in a fuller version before going to the Coda. This piece was used in the UK in an advert for milk. | |||
