Rene Favarger (1815-1868) was a French composer who taught for many years in London, where his pieces were immensely popular.

| Subtitled Reverie, like many of Favarger's works. The rather idiosyncratic accelerandos are as marked in the score. The campanella was one of the little extras quite often found on Victorian pianos, though I don't suppose they could normally be tuned. | |||
