| Subtitled Romance. My copy is marked Con molto espress. -- Commodamente, but has no indication of publisher or copyright. Bound into a volume simply labelled Music, the only direct indication of date is that one of the other pieces is a patriotic piece about the Boer War; but some of the other pieces seem from the style of printing to be some decades earlier. IMSLP has this piece in a collection dated 1875, so it perhaps dates from around 1870. The score contains a fair number of evident mistakes, silently corrected here. | |||
