Stephen Heller [1815-88] was born in Pesth but live mostly in Paris. He was a noted pianist, teacher, and composer esp of studies. He was admired by Schumann.

	This piece is 30th and last of the Etudes Progressives, Op. 46, and is marked Allegro con moto, cantabile. It has many Schumannesque, and perhaps Mendelssohnian, touches. Sequenced in 2016 from a copy in my collection, published by Ashdown, London.
