Johann Nepomuk Hummel [1778-1837] was an Austrian composer and pianist, who spanned the transition from Classical to Romantic.

	Not in Hummel's main list of piano pieces; IMSLP says: These are mostly though not all leavings found in exercise books (etc.) that are missing proper identification. Consider them a challenge. Sequenced in 2011 from the IMSLP version taken from a collection of short piano pieces. I find that piano pieces of this period usually sound better on the fortepiano; sadly, my keyboard doesn't have a proper fortepiano, so it is sequenced here for the honky-tonk piano. The occasionally somewhat eccentric accents and volumes are taken directly from the score.
