Selim Palmgren (1878-1951) was a Finnish composer, pianist and conductor.

	En Route is subtitled Concert Study for Pianoforte; it is Palmgren's Op 9, published in 1901, and marked Allegro vivace. For some years, this was my `signature tune' on my web site, so I have a soft spot for it. Some years after sequencing this, I found a 1934 performance by Eileen Joyce on YouTube which matches my version much better than some found out there.
