International Music Score Library Project [IMSLP] entry: Antonio Soler

Padre Antonio Soler [1729-1783] was a Spanish (Catalan) composer best known for his keyboard sonatas, who may have been a pupil of Domenico Scarlatti. His work is structurally similar to that of Scarlatti, but is much less well-known, and shows something of the transition from the Baroque era [Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Scarlatti, ...] to the Classical [Mozart, Haydn, ...] in his style. The keyboard pieces can be played on the organ or forte-piano, but sound best on the harpsichord.

This sonata, number 84 in the Rubio catalogue, is marked Allegro.
Sequenced in 2017 and 2020 primarily from the IMSLP copy, but I took a few hints from the performance by Rafael Puyana on an LP in my collection.

This sonata, number 21 in the Rubio catalogue, is marked Allegro.
Sequenced in 1997 from a library copy, in turn taken from XXVII Sonata Para Clave Por el Padre Fray Antonio Soler, Que ha Impresso Roberto Birchall, No 133, New Bond Street.
